🔧 JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Industrial design, Mechnical Design.

The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals and hands-on experience in developing Plant Design and Mechanical  design from concept through manufacturing and assembly.

🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop accurate 3D models of mechanical components, equipment, structures, and assemblies using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD.
• Create and extract detailed 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models with proper dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and drawing standards.
• Prepare GA (General Arrangement), assembly, fabrication, and detailed part drawings.
• Develop mechanical layouts and drawings for plant engineering and industrial applications.
• Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, structures, platforms, supports, piping supports, and related plant components.
• Prepare plant layouts, equipment layouts, and mechanical arrangement drawings.
• Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed 3D
• Lead and execute the design and development of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), part lists, drawing registers, and other engineering documentation.
• Modify and update existing designs, drawings, and 3D models based on engineering
• Maintain proper revision control of 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical documents.

💻 MANDATORY CAD SKILLS

Strong proficiency in all/most of the following is required:

✅ SolidWorks
✅ AutoCAD
✅ Autodesk Inventor

⚙️ REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D engineering drawing development.
• Ability to prepare and interpret GA, fabrication, assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Good knowledge of GD&T, fits, tolerances, dimensions, and engineering drawing standards.
• Knowledge of structural supports, platforms, brackets, frames, and equipment supports.
• Basic knowledge of piping layouts, piping supports, equipment connections, and mechanical interfaces.
• Ability to read and understand P&ID, equipment drawings, technical specifications, and engineering layouts.
• BOM preparation and technical documentation

⭐ PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience in the design and manufacturing of:

• Plant Engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• Heavy Industrial Machinery
• Customized / Special Purpose Machines

Experience with Plant Design, Mechanical Design, Equipment design and continuous improvement will be an added advantage.
